Its snowcapped summit dominates the landscape and on a clear day is easily visible during early morning and afternoon.

Day 4 & 5

Amboseli National Park

Enjoy another enticing day with a full day game drive at Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Africa's highest mountain Kilimanjaro, it is one of Kenya's most popular national parks, as you never miss to see the gentle giants as they graze through the landscape. Get a chance to mingle with the local Maasai people and get a taste of their culture.

It lies 150 miles’ south-east of Nairobi, very close to the Tanzania border. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli. Established as a national park in 1974 it covers 150sq miles and supports a wide range of mammals (well over 50 of the larger species) and birds (over 400 species).

Years ago this was the locale around which such famous writers as Ernest Hemingway and Robert Ruark spun their stories of big game hunting in the wilds of Africa.

The park encompasses dry lake beds, savannah woodland and extensive swamps constantly fed by springs emanating from the mountain. The water and seasonal lakes attract a wide variety of bird and animal life, in particular herds of elephant. Amboseli is one of the best parks in Africa to observe family groups of elephants and large bull elephants at close quarters.

End your day relaxing at your lodge with dinner and overnight

Day 6

Amboseli – Aberdare

After breakfast we leave for the Aberdare with our packed lunch to arrive in the late afternoon, have the afternoon at leisure as you relax from the comfort of your room. The Ark Lodge has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges which provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. Enjoy dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge.

Day 7

Mount Kenya – Olpejeta Conservancy

After breakfast we leave the Aberdares area to Mt Kenya at Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 90,000-acre (360 km2) not-for-profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya's Laikipia County. It is situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy works to conserve wildlife, provide a sanctuary for great apes and to generate income through wildlife tourism and complementary enterprises for re-investment in conservation and community development.

The Conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and in 2013 reached a population milestone of 100 black rhinos. It also houses three of the five last remaining northern white rhinos in the world, who were moved here from Dvůr Králové Zoo in the Czech Republic. The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is found here, and provides a haven for orphaned, abandoned and rescued chimpanzees. It is the only place in Kenya where these great apes can be seen.

The Conservancy is host to the "Big five game" among a large selection of other African animals, which makes it a popular safari destination. It also operates a successful Livestock program, which serves to benefit local pastoralists and wildlife. Through the conservancy's community development Program, Ol Pejeta provides funding to surrounding communities to aid Health, Education, Water and Infrastructure Projects.

They also support the provision of agriculture and livestock extension services and the development of community-based conservation tourism ventures. After lunch enjoy a game drive within the Conservancy. End the day with dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters tented camp.

Day 8

Olpejeta Conservancy

Today we have a full day at Ol Pejeta Conservancy with a visit to the lady’s weavers, Jane Goodall chimpanzee sanctuary. It’s location in a private conservancy with a higher wildlife-to- area ratio than any of Kenya's national parks makes Sweetwaters Tented Camp one of the best tented safari camps in Kenya.’

A sheltered oasis, clustered around a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sweetwaters Serena Camp offers a charming blend of under-canvas ambiance and Kenyan safari. Located on the plains of Mount Kenya, the camp features thirty- nine luxury tents, each with its own private veranda overlooking the water hole.

The central Rhino Restaurant is housed in the former manager's house of this once colonial farm, and offers both regional and international cuisine. Also within the house is the Kashoggi Bar and lounge, which centers on a blazing log fire.

The Waterhole Bar, built in the style of a game-viewing hide, overlooks the waterhole and offers unrivalled wildlife-watching. Host to all the members of the ‘Big Five' (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), the conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya.

At the forefront of the Kenyan Conservancy Program, the conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species. Enjoy the last, incredibly tasty meal prepared at your camp; residing to the comfort of the Sweetwaters tented Camp

Day 9

Olpejeta Conservancy – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast depart to Lake Naivasha. Enjoy afternoon nature walk within the conservancy, later return for Dinner and overnight at your Hotel Elsamere Centre

Welcome to Elsamare

Once a holiday home and later to be a retirement home for the Adamsons, Elsamere remains a unique destination in Naivasha. Delicious meals are served here and the traditional style high teas remain the best in Kenya. At Elsamere history connects with the future as conservation is our main objective. Re-kindle the memories of Born Free by watching the documentary, The Joy Adamson Story and visiting the museum

Day 10

Naivasha

After breakfast proceed for a walk to the crescent island sanctuary amidst gazelles, antelopes and giraffes and enjoy a 2-hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Return to Elsamere for lunch. After lunch you may visit Hell’s Gate National Park. Dinner and overnight served at your Hotel.

Day 11

Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara Game Reserve

Today we depart early for Kenya`s most famous game reserve - The Masai Mara home to the Masai tribe, large prides of lion and the annual wildebeest migration, enjoy a late afternoon game drive in the northern area of the Mara. Located at the very Centre of the famous ‘Mara Triangle' of the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve, the Mara Serena Safari Lodge is the ultimate safari destination. Set high on a bush-cloaked hill with long views over the savannah and down to the winding coils of the hippo-filled Mara River, it stands Centre-stage to one of Africa's most dramatic wildlife arenas, with a ringside seat for the ‘greatest wildlife show on earth', the legendary migration of the wildebeest.

Styled to echo the circular motif of a traditional Maasai Manyatta, The Masai Mara lodge blends international sophistication with raw African beauty, while featuring twin rows of individual rooms, each with its own view of the famous Mara River. The central bar and dining areas enjoy spectacular views, as does the rock-surround swimming pool. Each uniquely-presented room is accommodated in its own stand-alone modular unit, with uninterrupted views, private balcony and spacious seating area. World renowned for the breathtaking spectacle of ‘the greatest wildlife show on earth', the awe inspiring annual migration of the wildebeest, the Mara is Kenya's most visited protected area. Technically an extension of Tanzania's renowned Serengeti National Park, the Mara constitutes only 4% of the entire Serengeti ecosystem but its rolling grasslands, meandering rivers and towering escarpments offer one of the world's most rewarding and evocative wildlife arenas. Overnight with all meals at Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 12 to 14

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Annual Wildebeest Migration, Fêted as one of the “New Seven Wonders of the World”, this cross border event, is one of the last great migrations, and a unique world heritage. The Mara is Kenya’s most famous and finest game sanctuary. In the months of June, July, August September and October each year, the wildebeests in their troops arrive at the Kenyan border, ready to cross the steep banks of the broad and fast flowing Mara River. This crossing is truly the greatest episode of the entire migration. Hot on their heels are the predators of the savannah –lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. The banks of the Mara River provide one of the best vantage points to witness the drama.

The Mara also offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will most likely see the Big Five- lion, rhino, Cape buffalo, leopard, and elephant. Not to mention numerous plains animals. Return in the late evening at Mara Serena Lodge for a sumptuous dinner and overnight.

Day 15

Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi – Depart

After breakfast we drive back to Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch at Eka Hotel. The rest of the day is spent at leisure in the hotel where a dayroom will be reserved for you to rest (Lunch and dinner at traveler’s expense). You will have dinner at the Big Five Restaurant before being transferred to JKIA for your flight back home
